BACOOR CITY, Cavite (PIA) — Touted to improve connectivity, ease traffic congestion and cut travel time from CALABARZON to Metro Manila, the City Government of Bacoor assured that proper measures will be put in place to minimize inconvenience to the public as the construction of the LRT Cavite Extension Project continues.
In a September 17 meeting with the Light Rail Transit Authority and JGHM, Mayor Strike Revilla assured that authorities will ensure that areas surrounding the construction project will not be significantly affected.
Revilla underscored that the city government will carefully plan routes and will be in close coordination with authorities to minimize inconvenience to the riding public.
“[While] the Niog Station is being constructed, proper measures will be put in place to ensure traffic flow in Niog and neighboring areas will not be significantly affected. Careful planning and close coordination will be observed to minimize inconvenience to residents and commuters.”
“The City Government remains fully committed to delivering these vital infrastructure projects.”
Once completed, the Niog Station Intermodal Facility and the LRT Line South Extension will improve connectivity, ease traffic congestion, and provide modern, efficient public transportation for thousands of Bacooreños.
