Cavite Provincial Health Office held another successful medical mission at Barangay Benjamin Tirona, General Mariano Alvarez, Cavite on March 28, 2023 where 256 children and adult patients were given free consultations and medicines.
The event aimed to provide medical assistance to the residents of the barangay, particularly those who do not have immediate access to healthcare services because of financial constraints.
The medical mission tapped several barangay officials, barangay health workers and nutrition scholars to oversee the prompt accommodation of the patients.
It was well-received by the community, with most expressing their gratitude for the assistance provided. Local officials also lauded the efforts of the provincial government and Governor Jonvic Remulla in bringing much-needed healthcare services to their constituents.
Ultimately, the medical mission attested to the commitment of the provincial health office to improve the health and well-being of the people of Cavite. (PICAD)
