MANILA – The Department of Health (DOH) on Thursday said all of its hospitals are fully operational denying a message claiming the lockdown of a DOH hospital due to a patient with coronavirus.
“This message is false. No DOH hospital is currently implementing a lockdown and all DOH hospitals remain fully operational,” the agency said in a statement.
The DOH called on the public to be vigilant in sharing information and only source health news and information from its official platforms.
The country has logged 4,115,488 infections with 2,943 active cases, 4,045,843 recoveries and 66,702 deaths as of Oct. 4.
About 78,443,972 individuals are fully vaccinated against the coronavirus disease 2019 and 23,811,248 have received their booster doses as of March 19.
“Due to ongoing migration of the Vaccine Information Management System by the Department of Information and Communications Technology, the DOH-Epidemiology Bureau will not be able to generate updated vaccine accomplishment until said migration has been resolved,” the DOH said. (PNA)
